Dear Dance Marathon Families,
Our families are the sole reason why the University of Iowa Dance Marathon exists. We serve all pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant patients and their families undergoing treatment at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. There are over 900 Dance Marathon families who continue to touch our lives each and every day. We support our families both emotionally and financially through special programs within and outside of the hospital. Members of our Family Relations team volunteer at the Stead Family Children's Hospital and conduct activities for the kids every day of the week. Our Representative Program partners a family with a Dance Marathon member to keep you all informed about our events while creating personal relationships with your family. Outside of the hospital, we host 8 different family events throughout the year, bringing our Dance Marathon families together with our organization to spend a fun, excitement filled day at various destinations around Iowa including Adventureland and Bloomsbury Farm.
We are here to serve your needs and to make sure that your time during and after treatment will not go unsupported. It gives us joy to lend a helping hand. Everything we do is FTK.
Whether you are a new Dance Marathon family, a veteran family, or the family of a kiddo who is dancing in our hearts, we feel so blessed that you allow us to be a part of your lives! For any questions regarding Family Relations, please don't hesitate to contact me, at firstname.lastname@example.org
