The Big Event is just around the corner and with that comes a lot of memories for me and questions for dancers who have not experienced the Big Event yet

On February 3rd and 4th, the University of Iowa Dance Marathon will have its annual Big Event. The event will take place from 7:00 PM Friday to 7:00 PM Saturday.

As my time in Dance Marathon nears its end, I have recently reflected on these past four years in this organization and all the memories, friendships, and inspiration it has given me.

Almost two months ago, the University of Iowa Dance Marathon granted me the amazing opportunity to participate in the Chicago Marathon.

This summer, I have served as a summer camp counselor at an All-Sports Camp in Dubuque, Iowa, and have had the honor to share my “Why” for Dance Marathon with my campers.

This past weekend on February 4th and 5th 2022, the University of Iowa Dance Marathon was able to host its second virtual Big Event as well as celebrate the past 28 years of creating miracles.

Another successful Chicago Marathon in the books for DMM. While this is no small feat, we reflect on some takeaways from a few of this year’s runners.
