As we dance for our kiddos, we also recognize our responsibility to the planet they will inherit. We are committed to making sustainability a core value of UIDM by minimizing event waste, working to neutralize our carbon footprint, and choosing environmentally responsible practices whenever possible. From eco-conscious event planning to thoughtful partnerships with the Iowa City Community, we strive to create a movement that uplifts not only children battling cancer, but the world they'll one day lead. UIDM's sustainability team works tirelessly year-round to inspire and educate the next generation of dancers, kiddos, and families to foster a community of compassion -- for people, for the planet, and for a better tomorrow.
