As we dance for our kiddos, we also recognize our responsibility to the planet they will inherit. We are committed to making sustainability a core value of UIDM by minimizing event waste, working to neutralize our carbon footprint, and choosing environmentally responsible practices whenever possible. From eco-conscious event planning to thoughtful partnerships with the Iowa City Community, we strive to create a movement that uplifts not only children battling cancer, but the world they'll one day lead. UIDM's sustainability team works tirelessly year round to inspire and educate the next generation of dancers, kiddos, and families to foster a community of compassion -- for people, for the planet and for a better tomorrow.
