Hey! My name is Alyssa McGuire, and I am the DM33 Operations Director. I found out about Dance Marathon through a friend in class, and since I joined, my love for the organization and the kiddos has grown tremendously. Not only have I gotten the opportunity to see the impact we make first-hand, but I’ve also been lucky enough to meet some of the most compassionate and encouraging friends. Every kiddo deserves to grow up, and I’m so lucky to be able to play even a small part in making a difference for them.

To the dancers,

I know it may be intimidating at first, but put yourself out there and you will flourish! I came into Dance Marathon knowing one person, but I instantly made some of the best friends I’ve ever had. No matter what, every dollar you raise and every smile you provoke makes a significant  difference in the lives of the kiddos, and that’s what Dance Marathon is about. Lean on each other, go out of your comfort zone, and give it your all because you’ll be surprised as to how big of a difference even the smallest effort can make.
