Hey there! I am Shaye, the Campus Relations Director for Dance Marathon 32. Throughout my life I’ve had many family members and friends fight cancer, and their battles remind me that every effort, every smile, and every action makes a real difference. UIDM is a place that has given me a family on-campus, and I’ve met some of the best friends I could ever ask for through this organization. Every day I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be part of this amazing cause and get to create connections with the families and DM members that truly are what I dance for.

To our dancers,

Know that you’ve already made a difference by showing up; every dollar, every dance move, and every moment that comes after will only deepen your connection to this organization and make this experience more rewarding. I was once in your shoes and remember what it was like to be a dancer. Many of you will eventually become the future leaders of this wonderful organization, but that leadership will always begin with that decision to make a difference. So, have fun, be you, and see the impact each and every one of you make in Dance Marathon!
