The Big Event might not be for another eight months, but UI Dance Marathon 33 is already in full swing. We went into our Summer Fundraising Challenge with a massive goal: raise $60,000 for the kids at University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

We partnered with local businesses, walked from door to door, baked, called, and texted. Thanks to our community’s tireless dedication, we met and quickly surpassed our goal, raising $86,284.33. That is an incredible 58% increase over last year’s challenge.

DM33 is just getting started, and we’re already on our way to making this a record-breaking year. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and supported us this summer.
